"Investment Opportunities in the Diaspora"AmCham Secretariat
‘Investment Opportunities in the Diaspora,’ a round-table breakfast hosted by The American Chamber of Commerce related important issues surrounding an investment outlook within the Diaspora. Guest speaker, Marlon Hill, Partner of delancyhill, P. A. – a professional association and attorneys-at-law, examined these issues amongst three main themes, namely: Assessing the Diaspora Market, Investment Opportunities (Jamaica vs. Diaspora), and Business and Legal Pre-requisites for market entry. The proceedings were opened by R. Anthony Jenkinson, Immediate Past President of AMCHAM and Managing Partner of Nunes, Scholefield, DeLeon & Co., which sponsored the breakfast. President Audrey Marks chaired the function and in her remarks expressed appreciation to AMCHAM V-P and Jamaica Public Service President, Charles Matthews, who leaves the island in July.
